Don't tell this great-grandmother that she shouldn't be doing this. She salvaged this old lawn mower which has been rusting behind the shed for about 15 years. She took it apart, cleaned the gears, etc. in the wheels, made some adjustments - this over several months, and a couple of times taking it apart again. She then took it to a shop to get it sharpened, then decided (of all things) to use it. Meanwhile Paul, her husband, is under Doctor's care for his back and is ordered right now to not do these things. So she cut the front lawn today. (The picture says 5/27/2008, but it is actually 6/27/2008). I don't know why the printer gives a different month than what the camera says. So our lady does these chores inbetween making the best bread in the county, making baby hooded towels for two large extended families, as well as the new babies in the ward (which are many), and throw in a few blankets too. Hooray for Super-Woman.

I think Hazel never ceases to amaze me. Personally, I am aspiring to be her, it will be a long road for me, but hopfully in this life time I will accomplish half of what he does. She IS Super Woman!!
I would love an email with that bread receipe...speaking of, have we ever done a Willard Family Cookbook? I would help gather the info & compile it if anyone is ever interested! It would be fun to share with everyone at Thanksgiving time.
Yeah- I have always marveled at Hazel's talents- her "Hazel Blankets" are so coveted in our family!
